Shopper Bonus Guide is a privately run informational website. We explain, in our own words, how the Instacart Shopper program works. That covers how to apply, what the requirements are, how pay and tips work, and how the new-shopper referral bonus is usually structured. We are an independent third party. We're not owned by, operated by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Instacart, Maplebear Inc., or any of their subsidiaries.

Everything here is general information. It is not financial advice, tax advice, legal advice, or employment advice. It doesn't create any professional or advisory relationship between us and you. We take part in Instacart's shopper referral program. The code BEAN85579C shown throughout this site is a referral code. If you sign up as a new Instacart Shopper using that code and then meet Instacart's requirements, for example completing the required batches within the required window, we may receive a referral reward. That's how the site is funded.

Using the code is optional. As far as we know, it doesn't reduce any bonus you might be eligible for. New shoppers who qualify are generally eligible for the same new-shopper incentive in a given market whether or not our code is used. We disclose this affiliate relationship openly because you should know how we make money before you act on anything here.
